I came back to El Cid Barbershop after two years, and it felt great to return. My friend Juan, the owner, wasn’t available this time, so Darwin took care of me—and he did an excellent job. I’m really happy with my clean cut: short on the sides and longer on top. They pay close attention to the details, and that makes all the difference. Highly recommended! I will be back every month from now!

My husband has been getting cuts from Juan for years and they are incredible. Juan’s attention to detail, personality and style all make for not only a great haircut but also a great experience. El Cid Barbershop has great vibes - an old school but minimalistic look! It’s the kind of place you’d show up early just to hang out with people and the barbers. The location is great too! So close to downtown and easy parking in the back. Whether you want to stop in when you’re vacationing or if you want to become a regular - I HIGHLY recommend giving Juan your business. I truly can’t say enough good things.

Tremendous experience! Definitely more than just a haircut. I got the whole treatment and it is well worth the money; beard trim and shaping, straight razor shave and hot towel treatment, shoulder massage, a fresh haircut, and a spray of designer cologne, and a surprise pair of free sunglasses for me and my daughter. I'm not gonna lie, I would have paid much more than I did. The owner takes pride in the experience he gives to his customers! I'll be back for sure!

The haircuts speak for themselves. Juan is a master with the clips. The shop and location is modern and uniquely elegant. El Cid also has a tremendous variety of fragrances to choose from. Juan runs through all the different types of fragrances with much knowledge. I was desiring to start a collection and he helped me walk through where I should start. I love the cologne I just purchased and looking forward to getting many more!

First time here, had a great experience! Charlie was my barber- he listened to everything I told him about how I wanted my haircut and he did an amazing job. Very, nice, clean, laid back environment. I will continue to come here for my haircuts going forward

Juan at El Cid Barbershop is the real MVP. Not only does he keep my fade fresh every time, but he also doubles as my unofficial therapist (not that he had much of a choice). His hospitality is unmatched—always welcoming, always professional, and always down to listen. Highly recommend booking with Juan if you want a clean cut and a safe space to vent!

This is much more than a barbershop. It’s a welcoming community that Juan and his amazing group of barbers have built. Charley will have you looking fresh no matter the type of cut. Highly recommend. Don’t look any further. This is the shop you want to be at.

My favorite barber shop in Palm Beach county. The attention to detail was meticulous, creating clean lines and careful blends. Cesar even advised me on specific beard and hair techniques to get the look I’m going for—including accounting for cowlicks and natural curl in my hair (mild enough that many barbers overlook it but prevalent enough that it significantly affects styling strategy). And—for a cherry on top—everyone was extremely friendly. But the moment I knew I was coming back was this: when I asked for advice on beard care products, Cesar didn’t try to upsell me. He candidly said he wasn’t sure that their beard oil would work with my hair type. The fact that he chose honesty over an upsell makes me trust him, and won my repeat business. I’ve tried a bunch of places in Palm Beach and because of Cesar’s reliability and capability, I’ve settled on this one. My sole caveat is that it’s a little pricier, but honestly it wasn’t unreasonable given the quality of service.
